New Trail Open In Scappoose Network! (forum)
Submitted by Shanti on Thu, 05/08/2008 - 11:06am.Many of you know the familiar faces of Ron Strasser and John Joy. They have long ago become staples of our wonderful mountain biking (... and roadie/cyclocross/racing) family. They not only show up for races and rides, but consistently put in many hours for trail building and maintenance. A Trail Party just wouldn't be the same without them.
Ron and John Joy have been working dilligently on the Scappose trail system. This has brought us all hours of singletrack pleasure.
Ron had an exciting announcement yesterday:

Trail Maintenance & Ride: Wilson River Trail (event)
Submitted by Ryan_K on Wed, 05/07/2008 - 12:51pm.I will be leading a trail maintenance and ride day on the Wilson River Trail (WRT). We will plan to meet at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse for car pooling at 9:00am. We will access the WRT near Keenig Creek Trailhead from Cedar Butte Road and clear as many of the small trees and branches from the trail working east towards the Footbridge Trailhead. You may recall from my earlier posts that this section of trail had quite a bit of blow down and wash outs from the winter storms.
