This is a Pre "Mt Hood Wild Ride" Work Party and Ride.  All Day.  10AM at Bottle Prarie parking area. Bring small hand tools such as loppers, clippers, rakes, shovels.

We will be brushing out some areas, cleaning up debris and water bars.  Possible Rolling work party on the bikes and/or a ride following. I'll probably also clean up the parking areas.

Scope out the 450 to see if we should send riders up it on the following weekend.

Powell Butte Volunteer Work Party June 14

Join Portland Parks on the Butte for the monthly Powell Butte work party. Depending on the weather, we will be grading and gravelling Orchard Loop, or working on the woodland trails getting rid of muddy/problem areas.

Jim Thorton would like our help openning the trails on the East side of Mt Hood. I suspect will meet in town (8am at Gateway?) to car pool to the Road 44 area. Details to follow.

• Saturday May 17th 8:30 AM at the Rock Creek Campground.

• The weather is looking good and Larch should be free of snow from 4 corners down (email me if you know for sure!!).

• This will be our first work party of the season and there is a lot of winter clean up.

• We need a strong turnout to complete the rehabilitation of the trail (Please bring/drag a friend with you).

• We will have a short informational meeting.
