Mount Hood Trail Conditions (forum)

Jim Thornton, Trails Coordinator of the Mount Hood National Forest, spoke at the PUMP April meeting. He said there were 200 plus inches of snow still in the high elevations, such as around High Prairie. The snow probably won’t melt off the 5000’ – 6000’ elevations until late June and early July. He asks that riders be aware of trail conditions and allow the trails to dry before riding late this summer.

A day of BIG fun brought to you by PUMP!  This day will be filled with competitive and noncompetitive events.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event!  More information coming soon regarding events, registration, venue, and prizes.  Stay tuned!

If you are interested in helping to plan this event, please attend a PUMP monthly meeting and talk to Ryan K or Cecily.  We are actively seeking volunteers to help in the organizing of PUMP events and also to help during the event day.

Central and Southern Coast Trails (forum)

I am looking for information on trails along Oregon's central and southern coast.  Last year I had a great ride at Cape Perpetua and was interested in knowing about other trails that might be in the same area and also further south along the coast.

Anyone have any info?  Thanks!
