Trail Maintenance & Ride: Wilson River Trail (event)
Submitted by Ryan_K on Wed, 05/07/2008 - 12:51pm.I will be leading a trail maintenance and ride day on the Wilson River Trail (WRT). We will plan to meet at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse for car pooling at 9:00am. We will access the WRT near Keenig Creek Trailhead from Cedar Butte Road and clear as many of the small trees and branches from the trail working east towards the Footbridge Trailhead. You may recall from my earlier posts that this section of trail had quite a bit of blow down and wash outs from the winter storms.

Wilson River Trail (blog)
Submitted by Jordan on Sun, 03/09/2008 - 7:03pm.Cecily and I went up to the Wilson River Trail today. The trail is in really good shape considering the time of year with little or no blowdown, no snow and no washouts. We rode from the Forest Visitor's center to a large rock out cropping about 8 Miles up the trail. The climb was steep but rewarding with great views and sunny weather. Wilson River is great long XC ride that will challenge any rider. It is possible to do a 30+ round trip ride.
So next time you head out west go beyond the Brown's Camp/Gales Creek to the Wilson River Trail, you'll be glad you did.
