Buck Creek Trail - trail report
I just road the Buck Creek Trail and I am happy to report that the trail is in great shape. The tread is firm and the trail is fast.
Two ride options: Ride level Advanced with a high level of cardio
Long version (18 miles, 3600 total ascent, 3 to 3 ½ hours)Start at the main Buck Creek sign ride up to Nestor Peak, downhill to/through Trail Head One/camp area, and down to the bottom of the valley, take a left and ride the Buck Creek Loop.
Short version (12 miles)Start at the main Buck Creek sign ride up to Trail Head One/camp area, and ride the trail down to the bottom of the valley, take a left and ride the Buck Creek Loop.
Suggestion: Print a map as signs are few

Directions:From Hood River cross the bridge to Washington. Turn left onto Hwy 14, Drive a couple miles, Turn right onto Hwy 141 connector road and proceed north. At the road merge with Hwy 141 go left and proceed North. Drive about 2 miles. Turn left at the sign for Northwestern Lake. Follow road down the hill & cross the bridge. The meeting place is at the trail map located at the 4-way intersection w/ Lakeview Rd.
