Post Canyon

Five of us met up for a ride at Post Canyon on Sunday afternoon.  We saw two other PUMP members headed down the hill as we were climbing up.

We climbed up from the trailhead and played around at Family Man for a while, which was fun!  We saw lots of families up there making use of this mountain bike playground area.  Awesome!  We then climbed a gravel road up to the start of 8-Track.  We descended 8-Track back to Family Man.  There was a few fun obstacles that we road on 8-Track, and a few that we put off for next time!  The rolling ladder was cool.  We then played on Family Man for a little bit more and descended almost back to the trailhead.  This brought us up to about 7 miles of riding, but with the beautiful day, we couldn't just ride back to the cars just yet.  So, we climbed back up to Family Man and descended again to the cars.

The trails were in excellent shape and the weather made for an amazing day of riding.  Can't wait to get back up there sometime soon.

Sounds like a good time! I

New to all the TRAILS

I'm from florida- residing in hood river since november- now that I got the chance to ride on A bike through some of the wonderous trails- I can now close those bike magazines and open my eyes and realize- that it's ALL HERE- yes!!!!

I'm new to all the trails- and was looking for a map online to send to my friends back home to show them the crazed trails I am discovering here in the gorge- mostly hood river

as well as tote my camera equipment on pack
