The ride is about 19 miles as a shuttle. The Falls Creek Trail is just the last section of the ride. There are numerous trails tied together that make up the typical ride. This ride is also referred to as Old Man Pass & Falls Creek on Adventure Maps.
The route from the top is Tr. 150 to road 3053. Take road 3053 to trail 157. Stay on trail 157 until the horse camp(about 1/4 mile down the road from where tr. 152 ends). You then pick up trail 152 in the horse camp. This eventually runs into 152a.
I would suggest going with someone who has ridden it before. There are a couple of spots where the trail intersects some dirt roads and you have more than one option for which direction to go.
Usually it's ridden as a shuttle, but can be ridden as an out & back, or a loop if you're down for doing the climb on the road. PUMP has had campouts in previous years where we ride it as a loop from the Paradise Creek campground up the road, then ride the trail down & more road & forest road to finish.
I'd say it's on the harder side of intermediate. It's a must ride when the snow finally clears.
I generally will ride this as a loop with the paved road. But, if I'm there with other folks with cars the shuttle option is fun. It is a great summer time ride. I would like to ride it as an out and back this summer if anyone is interested.
More info about Falls Creek trail
I just took a look at your Flickr album--nice photos. It looks like a really fun trail, but I don't know much about it. Is this the right trail?

Is it really only 1.7 miles long?
Much Longer than 1.7 miles

A few more questions if you don't mind... :)
You said it's about 19 miles. Is that one way or out and back?
Also, what level of difficulty are the trails?
It's good fun..
