Siouxon Creek

As of Thursday April 17th snow was still blocking the road to Siouxon Creek at the Horse trailer parking corner at the upper trail head.  It is now 'only' about a foot and half deep.  It looks like this is the last snow blockage, since the road below that looked cleared - at least what I could see from above the blockage.  My guess is that it could be passable in a probably over a week.  The new snow expected this weekend probably won't last very long once temperatures warm back up to normal.

I've heard that Jerry Deruyter is doing some work on the upper part of the trail.

I rode my Alp d'Huez up to the blockage from the Mount St Helens NVM hq.  Nice 22 mile ride!  You can see my ride at: http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/5424468.

And for those of you who might be in to geocaching I placed a cache along side the road too while I was at it!
