Lewis River Recreation Area trail work party

PUMP has been identified as one of the groups who has an interest in the Lewis River Trail.  We should show up and help the Mount St Helens Institute maintain this area, so as they say, Start the summer off right!  Help maintain trails in the old-growth forests of the Lewis River Recreation Area.  work will involve clearing storm debris and repairing trail tread and facilities south-east of Mount St Helens.  Efforst will focus on the Lewis River, Middle Falls and Big Creek Falls Trails.  Meet at the Pine Creek Work Center (parking lot in front of closed information station) at 09:00.  Volunteers should bring work gloves.  The work party will be followed by a potluck at the Pine Creek Work Center.  Bring along your favorite potluck dish to share.  For more information go to: www.mshinstitute.org
