Not A Complain - Just Question

Hi, Ryan.

The new page looks great - thanks for all of your work on it.

I had a lot of posts regarding Forest Park that need to go on the new site. They took a lot of time to write. How do I get ahold of the old archived data to cut and paste to the new site?

Accessing the old site..

Hey Shanti,

I'm slow to move over the archived site... busy & excited with the new site.  I do know that it's not fair or productive to just ditch all that good info.

Here's a way you can hack your computer to basically override pumpclub.org domain & then copy/paste info from the old site..

I'm assuming you're on windows:

  • make sure explorer is configured to view all files & folders (including system files).
  • Search for a file named "hosts" it should be in this directory: \system32\drivers\etc\
  • Add this line to the bottom of the file:
    216.127.84.30  2007.pumpclub.org

You should be able to pull that 2007.pumpclub.org up in a browser & access the old site on the old server...  I'll try & copy the old site over soon...
