I am planning on taking a week from Aug. 17 - Aug. 23 to do a road trip up to Whister BC with my bike and my dog. I have never been there, but I figure it won't be hard to find some phenomonal riding. I am going to be camping and doing a budget trip. If anyone is interested in joining me for the adventure give me a shout.

I'm thinking of traveling down to Diamond Lake to do the NW CHallenge XC race. I've heard mixed reviews about this race from last year's participants. I also hear the trails are great and the views stunning. Looking for riders who want to go down Friday and return Sunday that weekend. Details on the race are still sketchy, ,but hopefully will be posted soon. What little data athere is can be found here:

OK…By popular vote the date for the “BIG RIDE” is officially pushed to Saturday
Have you ever wanted to do the Ape Canyon and Smith Creek loop trails? Well, here's your chance! We'll be leaving from the Marble Mountain Snow Park, north-east of Cougar, WA at 8:00A. The Ape Canyon trail is in excellent condition this year. Even though the upper Smith Creek trail is currently in pretty rough condition, there are several work parties scheduled before Labor Day weekend which should clear out most of the brush in time for this ride.

Hi,
I'm a roadie at heart that just switched back to mountain biking, and would love someone to show me around the trails out in Scapoose. I've been out there twice, but keep to the same 2 loops, mainly b/c I'm afraid of getting into something I can't handle. I'm not a total beginner, but I get scared on the descents (I'm faster going up than down!), and am really looking for folks to ride with.
Anyone interested in going this Saturday morning? Or maybe one day after work next week? You can email me at maggiefin@yahoo.com.
Join PUMP for the final campout of the season.
The ride around Waldo lake is not to be missed. The ride is approximately 22 miles. It is fairly buff single track with a few technical sections. The lake is a pristine blue and the trail offers many viewpoints. There are also many other ride options for lengthening your ride or for Friday and Sunday rides.
What to bring:
Hey everybody.... I talked with John Joy last night after the FP ride. I volunteered to lead a ride out at Scappoosey on Friday night if anyone not going to Waldo wants to come out. Please bring lights as it will likely get dark on us... I'll be at the gate before 6pm rain or shine.
