Even though this event does not specifically pertain to mountain biking, it should be of interest because many of us use the streets and roads for recreational and/or commuting on. Safety is of utmost concern. David Anderson

I'm interested in checking out the Buck Creek Trail. I have never ridden there! It would be great to have folks on this ride that have been there before, but if not it will be somewhat exploratory on my part. We'll plan to carpool from Gateway Transit Center, south parking lot not near the parking garage and not gated (See map below), and depart at 8:00am.
Plan for several hours of riding, with climbing and descending. Bring water and food and appropriate clothing. A change of clothes for the ride home is nice too.
Fat Tire Farm will be showing Kranked 7: The Cackle Factor at the Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton St Portland, OR 97202) on May 10th.

21+ Show $10 - Doors 8:00 Show 8:30.
This will be the usual Fat Tire Farm party with FREE BEER from New Belgium Brewery and swag being thrown out to the crowd. Tickets are available now at the Fat Tire Farm.
I will be leading a trail maintenance and ride day on the Wilson River Trail (WRT). We will plan to meet at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse for car pooling at 9:00am. We will access the WRT near Keenig Creek Trailhead from Cedar Butte Road and clear as many of the small trees and branches from the trail working east towards the Footbridge Trailhead. You may recall from my earlier posts that this section of trail had quite a bit of blow down and wash outs from the winter storms.
